Project Details
Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) is seeking competitive proposals from qualified design-build teams for comprehensive delivery of the Airfield and Terminal Modernization Program (ATMP) Landside Improvements Project that will improve the ground transportation systems at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
Scope of services will include comprehensive planning, design, permitting, construction, commissioning, activation, and closeout of the ATMP Landside Improvements Project.
The primary purpose of the ATMP Landside Improvements is to improve the ground transportation systems at LAX
LAWA’s goals for the project include, but are not limited to:
Enhance the Safety & Efficiency of Ground Transportation Systems in and around LAX
Enhance the User Experience of Ground Transportation Systems in and around LAX
Innovate the Transportation Technology Systems in and around LAX

Demolition of Existing Roadways (Sky Way, Vicksburg Ave, 96th St, Alverstone Dr Sepulveda Ramps & Bridges, etc.)
Demolition of Existing Facilities (APD Building, APD Trailers, Billboards, LAX-it, Park One, SAAP 3, Utilities, Miscellaneous Fences & Gates, etc.)
Reconfiguration of LAX Gateway (Pylons & Signage)
Temporary Improvements to Enable Construction (As Required by Phasing Plans for Maintenance of Traffic (MOT))

LAWA intends to deliver the ATMP prior to the 2028 Olympics
